Combo discounts ("buy A, save on B")

Under Sales → Combo Discounts, create a "buy A, get a discount on B" rule. When a student's cart contains both, the discount applies automatically — no code required. This is a discount rule between two existing courses, not a separate product of its own.

Bundle products

Under Courses → Product bundles, package several courses together into their own standalone product with its own fixed price and sales page — different from a combo discount above, which is just a checkout-time discount between two courses. A bundle product can combine any number of courses, gets its own listing page, and shows up in your school's sitemap. If a student already owns some of the included courses, the sales page lets them know before they buy.

Subscription courses can't go in a bundle: bundles are checked out through the cart, which only takes one-time payments.

Checkout order bumps and post-purchase upsells

Set these up in the course's "Pricing & sales" tab, under "Checkout add-ons & group buy". There are two moments to make an offer:

  • Order bump: an extra checkbox at checkout that adds another course to the same order at a discount — a common way to raise average order value.
  • Post-purchase upsell: an offer for another course shown on the order success page. If the original order was a one-time Stripe payment, the student can buy it in one click without re-entering their card; otherwise they're taken to a checkout page with the offer price already applied.

Both offer the same discount types:

  • Percent off: a number from 1 to 100, e.g. 30 means 30% off.
  • Fixed amount off and Set fixed price: enter the amount itself, e.g. 49 means RM49 (or NT$49). TWD amounts must be whole numbers; other currencies allow up to two decimals. These two types require an amount — leaving it blank won't save, so a course can't accidentally become free.
  • Free: no amount needed.

Things to know:

  • A post-purchase upsell is only offered to a student who actually bought the trigger course, so the offer price can't be used by anyone else.
  • One-click buying only works on one-time Stripe orders. If the original order was a subscription, or the upsell course is itself a subscription, the student goes through the regular checkout instead.
  • A one-click purchase works like any other purchase: the student gets a receipt, you get a new-order notification, and the course's access duration applies as you set it. Clicking twice only charges once.
  • An order bump added while checking out a subscription course is charged on the first period only; every renewal after that charges just the subscription price.

All of these features are available on the Growth plan and above.
