Launch checklist

The full path from creating your school to your first sale.

Follow these steps in order and your online school will be ready to take its first payment.

1. Create your school

From the homepage, click "Start free", pick a subdomain (e.g. yourschool, so your URL becomes yourschool.teachvix.com), and enter your school name to finish registration — no payment method required.

2. Set up your brand

Go to School settings → School profile: fill in your school name and description and upload a logo, then pick a brand colour under Website settings → Look. Favicon, social share image (OG image), custom menu, and custom CSS/JS are all optional — safe to skip for now.

3. Publish your first course

1. Go to Courses, click "New course", and fill in the name, description, and price.

2. Add lessons — video, text (Markdown), a quiz, an assignment, a file download, a live event, or an embedded YouTube/Vimeo video.

3. Courses default to "Draft" and are only visible to you; click "Publish" when ready.

4. Set up payments

Go to School settings → Payments, click "Add payment method", pick a gateway that accepts your currency and follow its three steps: prepare your account, enter your keys, then turn it on at checkout. No real payment account yet? Start with "Manual bank transfer" — fill in your bank account details and you can take payments right away. There's no simulated payment on a live school: at least one payment method has to be fully set up and switched on with "Offer at checkout" in step 3 before students can pay.

5. Test-drive your own checkout

Before launching, complete a full purchase yourself (or ask a friend): open the sales page from a different account, check out, and confirm the order shows "Paid" and access is granted automatically. This catches easy-to-miss issues like a payment channel that isn't actually enabled.

/terms, /privacy, and /refund-policy are pre-filled with a generic template — read them yourself, and have someone familiar with your jurisdiction's consumer protection law review them before you start charging real money.

7. Final check

  • Course status is "Published"
  • Payment channels are enabled
  • Branding looks the way you want
  • You've reviewed the legal pages
