Custom email templates
Brand and customize the subject/body of your school's transactional emails.
On this page
Go to Email → System emails to customize seven transactional emails your school sends: welcome email, purchase receipt, refund confirmation, password reset, instructor invite, subscription renewal reminder, and subscription expired — each set independently per language.
Every email your school sends is automatically branded with your school's logo (or name, if you haven't set a logo) in the header, and a footer noting it was sent by your school — set your logo once under Settings → School profile and it applies everywhere.
For each template, you can:
- Edit the subject and body as plain text/HTML, inserting merge variables (like the student's name or the course title) with a click
- See a live preview using sample data before you save
- Send yourself (or anyone) a test email using your current draft, even before saving
- Clear both fields and save to reset that template back to the default wording
This is a text/HTML editor, not a drag-and-drop visual builder — you're editing the copy and structure, not designing a page from scratch.
Sender name and reply-to email
The "Sender settings" page (Email → Sender settings) controls how your emails look to students:
- Sender name: what students see as the sender. Leave it blank to use your school name.
- Support email: where a student's reply goes when they press Reply. Leave it blank to use your login email. Students can see this address.
The sending address is still the platform's, so you don't need to set up a domain. After saving, send yourself a test email from the "System emails" page, then press Reply and check that the reply reaches the support email you entered — a test email arriving only proves the platform can send, not that the support email is right.
