Customizing your navigation menu

Show, hide, reorder, and rename the links in your storefront's navigation bar.

On this page

Under Website settings → Menu, you can control the built-in menu items your students and visitors see across your storefront: Downloads, Events, Blog, Consultations, Community, My Courses, and FAQ (schools created before the FAQ item existed don't get it in their menu automatically — add a custom link to /faq if you want it). A few things you can't change: the shopping cart icon, login/signup/logout buttons, and the dashboard button (for instructors) — these stay fixed, same as most competing platforms. The language switcher is not part of the menu: it lives in the page footer. The site's light/dark appearance follows each visitor's own system setting — there's nothing to switch (see Site appearance for the header's look and behaviour).

Show, hide, and reorder

Drag any item to reorder it, or toggle it off to hide it from the menu entirely. Hiding an item only removes the link — the page itself is still reachable if someone has the direct URL (e.g. a Downloads page you've hidden from the menu can still be linked to from elsewhere on your site).

Renaming items, per language

By default, each menu item's label follows whatever language the visitor is currently viewing your site in — no setup needed. If you'd rather call something by a custom name (e.g. "Resources" instead of "Downloads"), you can override the label for English, Malay, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese independently. You don't have to fill in all four: a solid dot next to a language means you've entered your own text for it, a hollow dot means it's currently falling back to the default translation (or to whichever language you did fill in, if none of the four exact matches are set).

Beyond the built-in items, you can add custom links to anywhere — your own external site, a specific page, a promotion. Custom links only support a single label at a time (not per-language), and can be deleted entirely, unlike built-in items which can only be hidden.
