Site FAQ: common questions for the whole school
Add, sort and publish FAQs under Website → Site FAQ; a course's own FAQ replaces it.
Website → Site FAQ (owner only) holds the common questions that apply to your whole school — payment methods, refund rules, how to take a course.
Adding and editing
Press "Add FAQ" and fill in:
- Question: plain text.
- Answer: a simple rich text editor; up to 1000 characters.
- Order: smaller numbers come first.
- Status: "Draft" isn't shown on your site, "Published" is. You can switch any entry between draft and published, edit it, or delete it (deleting can't be undone).
- Other ways to ask (optional): visitors may ask the same thing in different words. One per line, up to 5.
- Pin as a quick button in the site chat (optional): when ticked, this question appears above the box in your website chat and one tap shows the answer; up to 3 across the site.
These two are for the website chat: when a visitor's wording is exactly the same as this question (or one of its other ways to ask), or its meaning is clearly closest to it, the chat replies with your answer as written — no AI, no AI messages used. Two FAQs cannot be asked in exactly the same words; saving warns you to reword one. Only published FAQs are used; set one to draft or delete it and the chat stops using it right away.
Where it appears
- Your school's FAQ page (
/faq). To add it to the menu see Customizing your navigation menu. - The "FAQ" tab on each course's sales page.
A course's own FAQ
On a course, Students & community → Course FAQ lets you write questions for that course alone. As soon as a course has at least one published course FAQ, its sales page shows only the course's own — it is not merged with the site FAQ. With none, the site FAQ shows instead.
This differs from course Q&A: here you write fixed answers in advance; questions students ask and you answer are course Q&A.
